Continuous Long Glass Fiber Reinforcement
Unlike short fiber composites, our PPS-LGF materials contain long glass fibers (typically 12–25 mm) that are carefully oriented and embedded during compounding and molding. This continuous fiber architecture creates a robust internal skeleton, significantly enhancing tensile strength, flexural modulus, impact toughness, and fatigue resistance.
Advanced Compounding & Pultrusion Process
Using state-of-the-art pultrusion and compounding technologies, the long glass fibers are uniformly dispersed and protected within the PPS matrix. This ensures excellent fiber-matrix adhesion, consistent fiber length retention, and stable mechanical performance with minimal fiber breakage.
Exceptional Chemical and Thermal Resistance
PPS polymer backbone provides excellent resistance to harsh chemicals such as acids, bases, fuels, oils, and solvents. It also withstands continuous operating temperatures up to ~260°C (500°F), making it ideal for high-temperature environments where other thermoplastics degrade.
