Product Details
What is Glass-Filled TPU?
TPU-LGF40 is a high-performance thermoplastic composite consisting of Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) reinforced with 40% Long Glass Fiber (LGF). Through the advanced pultrusion process, continuous glass fibers are fully impregnated with molten TPU resin before being pelletized, allowing excellent fiber length retention after injection molding compared with conventional short glass fiber reinforced TPU materials.
Compared with standard TPU or short glass fiber reinforced TPU, TPU-LGF40 provides significantly improved tensile strength, stiffness, dimensional stability, creep resistance, and load-bearing capability while maintaining the excellent flexibility, impact resistance, and abrasion resistance of TPU.
The combination of TPU's outstanding toughness, elasticity, chemical resistance, and long glass fiber reinforcement creates a unique engineering material suitable for applications requiring both mechanical strength and durability. TPU-LGF40 performs reliably under repeated impact, vibration, and harsh working conditions, making it an ideal lightweight replacement solution for demanding industrial components.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Trial orders are welcome. Our standard MOQ is 25 kg for glass fiber reinforced grades and 20 kg for carbon fiber reinforced grades.
Sample quantities are also available for TPU-LGF40 material evaluation and testing before mass production.
How do you ensure TPU-LGF40 quality?
Quality is controlled throughout the complete production process, including raw material inspection, fiber impregnation, pelletizing, and final product testing.
Each batch of TPU-LGF40 undergoes strict quality checks to ensure consistent mechanical performance, fiber distribution, appearance, and processing stability.
Material Test Reports (MTR) and technical data sheets can be provided before shipment. Third-party inspection can also be arranged according to customer requirements.
Can you customize TPU-LGF materials?
Yes. We provide customized TPU-LGF material development based on different application requirements.
Our technical team can adjust glass fiber content, hardness, elasticity, impact resistance, color, wear resistance, flame retardancy, and other properties to meet specific product requirements.
What are the advantages of TPU-LGF40 compared with standard TPU?
Compared with standard TPU, TPU-LGF40 offers significantly higher stiffness, tensile strength, dimensional stability, and load-bearing capability.
At the same time, it maintains TPU's natural advantages including excellent impact resistance, abrasion resistance, flexibility, and chemical resistance.
This combination makes TPU-LGF40 suitable for applications where traditional rigid engineering plastics cannot provide sufficient toughness and durability.
Can TPU-LGF40 replace metal components?
Yes. TPU-LGF40 can be used as a lightweight alternative to metal components in applications requiring high toughness, vibration resistance, and durability.
The long glass fiber reinforcement improves structural strength while reducing weight, helping manufacturers achieve lightweight design, improved efficiency, and simplified processing.
How long is the lead time?
Standard TPU-LGF40 grades are typically shipped within 3–7 working days after payment.
Customized materials usually require 7–15 working days,
depending on formulation requirements, testing procedures, and order quantity.
The exact delivery time will be confirmed according to your project requirements.
