Long Glass fiber Reinforced Polyamide (nylon)  PA6 Reinforce Thermoplastic, a long fiber reinforced thermoplastic, is Long Fiber reinforced Thermoplastics, compared to conventional fiber reinforced thermoplastics. Typically, fiber lengths in fiber reinforced thermoplastics are less than 1 mm, while in LFT, The length of the fiber is generally more than 2 mm. The current processing technology has been able to maintain the fiber length in the LFT above 5 mm.

Long Glass fiber Reinforced Polyamide (nylon)  PA6 calcium chloride composites were prepared by melt extrusion process; LGF content has an effect on the mechanical properties, Vicat softening point and crystallization properties of the composite. LGF is added to PA6 The crystallization rate and crystallinity of PA6 can be improved. When the mass fraction of LGF is 30%, the crystallinity is the largest, reaching 33.1-33.2%. With the increase of LGF content, the mechanical properties of the composite and the Vicat softening point temperature are greatly improved. When the mass fraction of LGF is 50%, the tensile strength of the composite can reach 159.5-159.8 MPa, the bending strength reaches 193-193.5 MPa, the notched impact strength reaches 9.3kJ/m2, and the Vicat softening point temperature reaches 68-69.2 °C.
