Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) is a high-performance engineering thermoplastic with excellent high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, radiation resistance, and flame retardancy. PPS offers balanced mechanical properties, excellent dimensional stability, and superior electrical insulation, making it ideal as a resin matrix for composite materials.

Why Modify PPS?

Pure PPS material is naturally brittle, has low impact resistance, and is difficult to process. Its high cost also limits some applications. To overcome these limitations, PPS is often modified or reinforced. Long glass fiber (LGF) reinforced PPS improves thermal conductivity, wear resistance, toughness, and high-temperature performance, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
