PP Plastic

Polypropylene (PP) is a widely used general-purpose plastic with excellent overall properties, good chemical stability, easy processing, and low cost. However, PP has some limitations such as low strength, modulus, hardness, low-temperature impact resistance, shrinkage during forming, and aging.

Typical PP properties: tensile strength 20–30 MPa, bending strength 25–50 MPa, bending modulus 800–1500 MPa. Modified PP materials are widely applied in household appliances and automotive components.

Long Glass Fiber

Long glass fiber is an inorganic non-metallic material with excellent performance. Advantages include good insulation, heat and corrosion resistance, and high mechanical strength, while disadvantages include brittleness and poor wear resistance. It is mainly used to reinforce composite materials. Long glass fibers typically exceed 10mm in length.

PP-LGF (Long Glass Fiber Reinforced PP)

PP-LGF is a composite material with glass fibers of 10–25mm. After injection molding, the three-dimensional fiber length remains above 3.1mm, significantly enhancing rigidity, impact resistance, creep resistance, and dimensional stability, while enabling complex shapes. Also called LGFPP.
