TPU is short for Thermoplastic Urethane, and its Chinese name is thermoplastic elastomer. TPU is a polymer material formed by reaction polymerization of TDI, macromolecular polyols and chain extenders. Its molecular structure is alternately composed of rigid blocks obtained by the reaction of diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI), toluene diisocyanate (TDI) and chain extender, and flexible chain segments obtained by the reaction of diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI), toluene diisocyanate (TDI) and macropolyols. TPU has the characteristics of high tension, high tension, toughness and aging resistance, so it is a mature environmental protection material.
At present, TPU has been widely used in medical and health, electronic appliances, industry and sports. It has incomparable high strength, toughness, wear resistance, cold resistance, oil resistance, water resistance, aging resistance, climate resistance and other characteristics that other plastic materials cannot match.
