What is Glass-Filled ABS?

ABS-LGF40 is a high-performance engineering composite consisting of Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) reinforced with 40% Long Glass Fiber (LGF). Through the advanced pultrusion process, continuous glass fibers are fully impregnated with molten ABS resin before being pelletized, allowing the material to maintain excellent fiber length retention after injection molding compared with conventional short glass fiber reinforced ABS.

Compared with standard ABS or short glass fiber reinforced ABS materials, ABS-LGF40 delivers significantly improved mechanical strength, stiffness, impact resistance, creep resistance, and dimensional stability. The long glass fiber reinforcement creates a stronger internal fiber network, enabling excellent load-bearing capability and long-term reliability under continuous mechanical stress.

ABS-LGF40 also maintains the excellent processing performance, surface appearance, and balanced toughness of ABS resin, making it an ideal lightweight replacement solution for metal and traditional engineering plastics in structural applications requiring high strength and precision.
