ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is a thermoplastic polymer structural material with high strength, good toughness, and easy machinability. ABS appears as opaque ivory grains, but products can be colored and have a high gloss finish. Why fill with Long Glass Fiber? Long fiber reinforced thermoplastics (LFT & LFRT) differ from conventional short fiber reinforced thermoplastics. Short fibers are usually 1–2 mm long, while long fiber processes maintain lengths of 5–25 mm. The long fiber is impregnated with a special resin system, cut to desired lengths, and can be used in injection molding, extrusion, and other applications. This enables direct replacement of steel and thermoset products. Advantages of ABS filling Long Glass Fiber Compounds Glass fiber is heat resistant, increasing the heat resistance of reinforced plastics, especially for nylon plastics. Reduces shrinkage and greatly improves rigidity by limiting polymer chain movement. Prevents stress cracking and significantly improves impact resistance. Enhances mechanical strength, including tensile, compressive, and bending strength. Flame retardancy: Most reinforced plastics cannot ignite due to added fibers and additives. • PP-NA-LCF30
Copo Polypropylene filling LGF 20-60 injection molded reinforced Plastic
PP Long Carbon Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastic Lightweight, high-strength, and high-performance thermoplastic composites designed for automotive, industrial, and structural lightweight applications. About LFT Materials Long Fiber Thermoplastics (LFT) have been widely used in the automotive industry, especially polypropylene-based (PP) materials, due to their lightweight structure, excellent strength, and high design flexibility. LFT compounds are ideal for replacing metal in structural applications, helping manufacturers achieve lightweighting and lower carbon emissions. Compared with short fiber materials, long fiber reinforced compounds provide significantly better mechanical performance and energy absorption. In many applications, the impact resistance and energy absorption capability of LFT materials can be two to three times higher than short fiber compounds. This combination of performance and sustainability makes LFT materials increasingly attractive for automotive, transportation, and industrial markets. About Long Carbon Fiber Long carbon fiber composites are advanced reinforced thermoplastic materials featuring high strength, high modulus, lightweight characteristics, and excellent electrical conductivity. Compared with traditional materials and glass fiber composites, long carbon fiber composites provide superior rigidity, lower density, higher specific strength, and better overall mechanical performance. These materials are increasingly used in demanding industries such as electric vehicles, industrial equipment, electronics, aerospace, and sports products. Advantages of PP-LCF Materials Corrosion Resistance Excellent resistance to harsh working environments and chemicals. UV Resistance Strong resistance to ultraviolet exposure and outdoor aging. Impact Resistance Outstanding abrasion and impact performance compared with conventional materials. Lightweight Lower density than many metals while maintaining high strength. High Rigidity Improved stiffness and reduced warpage in molded products. Electrical Conductivity Excellent conductive properties compared with glass fiber reinforced materials. Compared with glass fiber composites, LCF materials offer higher strength, higher rigidity, lighter weight, and better electrical conductivity. Datasheet of PP-LCF Applications PP-LCF materials are widely used in industries requiring lightweight structures, high strength, dimensional stability, and durability. Automotive structural components Electric vehicle parts Industrial equipment housings Electronic products Sports and leisure equipment Transportation lightweight structures Processing PP-LCF materials are suitable for injection molding, extrusion, and other thermoplastic processing methods. Proper drying and molding parameter control are recommended to achieve optimal mechanical performance and surface quality. About Us Xiamen LFT Composite Plastic Co., Ltd. specializes in the development and manufacturing of Long Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastics (LFT & LFRT), including Long Glass Fiber (LGF) and Long Carbon Fiber (LCF) materials.
