PA12-LGF40 is a high-performance engineering composite consisting of Polyamide 12 (PA12) reinforced with 40% Long Glass Fiber (LGF). Through the pultrusion process, continuous glass fibers are fully impregnated with molten PA12 resin before being pelletized, allowing the fibers to maintain excellent effective length retention after injection molding compared with conventional short glass fiber reinforced materials.
Compared with standard PA12 or short glass fiber reinforced nylon, PA12-LGF40 provides significantly improved stiffness, tensile strength, impact resistance, fatigue resistance, and dimensional stability. Thanks to the naturally low moisture absorption, excellent chemical resistance, and outstanding dimensional accuracy of PA12, this material delivers reliable long-term performance even in demanding environments involving humidity, chemicals, and repeated mechanical stress.
PA12-LGF40 combines the excellent chemical resistance, low moisture absorption, and dimensional stability of Polyamide 12 with the superior reinforcement effect of long glass fibers. It provides outstanding mechanical strength, fatigue resistance, precision performance, and long-term durability, making it an excellent lightweight metal replacement solution for demanding structural applications.
