PEEK Information

Carbon fiber reinforced PEEK has double the tensile strength of non-enhanced PEEK at room temperature and triple at 150°C. Impact strength, bending strength, and modulus are greatly improved, while elongation decreases sharply. The thermal deformation temperature can exceed 300°C.

The specific energy absorption of carbon fiber reinforced PEEK reaches up to 180 kJ/kg, demonstrating excellent impact performance. These materials are widely used in aerospace, automotive, electronics, medical, and food processing industries.

• Internal Structure: SFT fibers are short and disordered; LFT fibers are longer and neatly aligned.
• Appearance: SFT length <3mm; LFT length 5-24mm.
• Performance: LFT impact performance increases 1-3x, tensile strength +50%, overall mechanical properties +50-80%.
• Application: LFT is ideal for load-bearing and structural components.
