Introduction to Long Carbon Fiber Reinforced Copolymer Polypropylene (CPP)
Long Carbon Fiber Reinforced Copolymer Polypropylene (CPP-LCF40) is a lightweight engineering thermoplastic developed for applications requiring excellent impact resistance, high stiffness, and outstanding fatigue performance. Reinforced with 40% long carbon fiber, CPP-LCF40 combines the toughness of copolymer polypropylene with the superior reinforcing effect of long carbon fibers, making it an excellent alternative to metal and conventional engineering plastics.
Composition and Structure
CPP-LCF40 consists of a copolymer polypropylene matrix reinforced with 40% long carbon fibers. The long fiber network enables efficient stress transfer throughout the composite, providing significantly higher strength, stiffness, impact resistance, and long-term durability than traditional short fiber reinforced polypropylene materials.
