Processing Guidelines
PPA long glass fiber reinforced composites can be processed using conventional thermoplastic equipment. Recommended parameters:
Drying: Not always necessary, but 149℃ for 6 hours recommended.
Mold Temperature: 135-177℃ for optimal surface quality.
Screw Design: Use low-shear screws to avoid fiber breakage.
