PP-NA-LCF is natural black, 20%-60% long carbon fiber reinforced, heat stabilized polypropylene. It offers good dimensional stability and reduced warpage performance.

The carbon fibers are chemically coupled to the polymer matrix. The material is supplied in pellets typically 12mm in length, maintaining fiber structure during processing.

Typical applications include structural automotive parts and injection molding applications.

Production Technology

Melt impregnates the fiber with the matrix resin to maximize performance.

1. Through physical and chemical treatment of carbon fiber, impurities are removed and surface activity is improved.
2. Resin and additives are added to improve flowability, hardness, and temperature stability.
3. Pre-treated fibers are coated evenly with resin using specialized equipment.
4. Material is solidified to ensure strong bonding between fiber and resin.
5. Pellets are cut according to application requirements.
