PBT-LGF30 is a high-performance engineering thermoplastic composite consisting of Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT) reinforced with 30% Long Glass Fiber (LGF). Manufactured using an advanced pultrusion process, continuous glass fibers are fully impregnated with molten PBT resin before pelletizing, allowing excellent fiber length retention after injection molding and creating a strong internal reinforcement network.
Compared with standard PBT or short glass fiber reinforced PBT materials, PBT-LGF30 provides significantly improved tensile strength, stiffness, impact resistance, creep resistance, dimensional stability, and fatigue performance, especially in applications requiring long-term mechanical reliability.
PBT resin itself offers excellent electrical insulation, low moisture absorption, chemical resistance, good dimensional accuracy, and stable performance under various environmental conditions. Combined with long glass fiber reinforcement, PBT-LGF30 becomes an ideal lightweight engineering material for automotive, electrical, electronic, and industrial applications where high strength, precision, and durability are required.
PBT-LGF30 combines the excellent electrical insulation, dimensional stability, chemical resistance, and processing performance of PBT with the superior reinforcement provided by long glass fibers. It delivers outstanding mechanical strength, creep resistance, and reliable performance under continuous loading, making it an excellent choice for precision engineering applications where lightweight design, durability, and long-term reliability are essential.
Automotive connectors, sensor housings, ECU components, terminal blocks, and electronic modules requiring high dimensional stability and reliable mechanical performance.
Connectors, relay components, coil bobbins, switches, circuit protection parts, and insulation components requiring excellent electrical properties and precision molding.
Battery connectors, charging system components, power control modules, electrical housings, and lightweight components used in EV systems.
Gears, bearing cages, pump components, mechanical supports, and precision parts requiring high strength, wear resistance, and dimensional accuracy.
