What is PA12?

PA12, scientifically known as polydodecalactam (Nylon 12), is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic polymer. Its primary raw material is derived from petrochemical sources such as butadiene.

PA12 features a unique crystal structure compared to other polyamides, offering excellent electrical insulation performance and low sensitivity to moisture. It also provides outstanding flexibility, impact resistance, and chemical stability.
