The melting point and decomposition temperature of HDPE were 142℃ and 300℃ respectively.The adjustable range of injection temperature is large.When injection molding, the general service temperature is 180℃--230℃;The melt viscosity of polyethylene is large, length ratio is small, thin wall products may lack of glue, therefore, gate and runner relatively large;Products with static electricity, easy surface absorption.The shrinkage rate was 16‰.Overflow value is 0.05mm.

High density polyethylene has good heat and cold resistance, good chemical stability, but also has high rigidity and toughness, mechanical strength.Dielectric properties, environmental stress cracking resistance is also good.Hardness, tensile strength and creep property are better than low density polyethylene.Good wear resistance, electrical insulation, toughness and cold resistance, but slightly worse than low density insulation;Good chemical stability.
